Thrive Hive is the culmination of simplicity and practicality with insulation and a more natural environment that is about the wellbeing of the bees.

By using traditional hive weaving techniques within a structural framework it is possible to provide a habitat that it both suitable for the bees, and  the conscientious beekeeper.

The bee is no longer cajoled into a home that does not fit its natural form. Thrive Hive is formed in a hollow trunk shape, in which wild bees build colonies. The weaving means a rounded form and is also the perfect material due to the excellent insulating properties found naturally within the structure.

By using the top bar design for Thrive Hive, the required tools for keeping bees are reduced. Thrive Hive is not aimed at commercial use but for communities and households to partake in bee keeping, with the return not to the pocket but to the well being of the garden or allotment. As the bees are being treated to a better well insulated home the harsher winters will not be so damaging. This means a stronger colony for the future.
